North eastern Maine and especially along route 302 through Fryeburg into New Hampshire’s White Mountains areas are one of the best places to look out for excellent photogenic places for photographing fall colors in Maine.
Using a wide angle lens, a tripod and spiked shoes that can help you tread on the slippery stones, you can get some magnificent compositions that regular tourists will not be ready to do!
